Turkish Delight Semifreddo

No matter what the weather is doing, my love for cold frozen desserts will always be present! Whether it be a watermelon granita on a balmy summer night or a generous scoop of vanilla ice-cream accompanying **insert favourite pudding here** during the colder months - I just love cold desserts! This recipe was inspired some time ago when all my dinner guests were sifting through the much beloved box of Cadbury Favourites trying to find that pink and gold wrapping of the highly treasured Turkish Delight! This popular Middle Eastern dessert needed to be incorporated into something more for my next dinner party and thats how I came up with the Turkish Delight Semifreddo!

The delicate floral flavour of the rosewater partners incredibly well with ingredients like vanilla bean and fresh raspberries. This dessert is fuss free, impressive and absolutely delicious which will want your guests wanting more! For a slight variant on this recipe I would suggest adding some crushed pistachios.

Turkish Delight Semifreddo is a one bowl wonder thanks to the help of a Kitchenaid.
